I finally finished updating the ELA PowerPix with Common Core Standards and have the kindergarten and first grade ELA ready to share today :) I'm sure there are errors but I think these are much clearer and better organized than what I shared in 2011 when I first started learning about the Common Core Standards. Just click the picture below to download the PowerPix and then grab the Teacher Notes from the Goggle Doc below.
Please let me know what you think and come back throughout the week for the rest of ELA and then Math :)

Fabulous! Both of these are going to be an enormous help in the classroom. Might teach those administrators what they should be noting on their little pads. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...I'm so mad! I just printed all the 2nd grade ones to match the old standards...Great job you just did! I shouldn't have rushed to print them! Can't wait to see the 2nd grade ones :0) Come over to my blog, I just made the 2nd grade science and social studies that will be on the WBT website soon!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I just copied and pasted the teacher's guide into Word so that I could change the common core to Virginia Standards. I was wondering if you could send me a copy of the power pics in an editable format so I could change the CCS standards to Virginia SOL standard numbers?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
ReplyDeleteI am loving you so much right now!!!! THANK YOU :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for these, can't wait to begin using them. I am wondering what is your gesture for the question "What is a syllable?" is it really a repeat of the capital letter gesture? Thanks again!
